Lisa St Aubin de Terán
Amaurea Press has recently published the new memoir from Lisa St Aubin de Terán, along with new editions of her first four novels.
We will gradually be publishing further new editions of her previous work, alongside her new novel The Hobby, later this year.
Poetry Supporting Samaritans
Powerful new poetry from a young voice in crisis: “vividly captures the experiences and turmoils of an active mind questioning the absurdity of so-called normality.”
Commodity History
Amaurea has brought out a new and expanded edition of Jean Stubbs’ classic study of Cuban tobacco history, Tobacco on the Periphery. This will soon be joined by a collection of Jean’s subsequent writings: Tobacco Counterpoints: Cuba and the Global Habano.
A photographic celebration of Cuban Jazz
In November 2024, Amaurea will be publishing a photographic celebration of Cuban jazz: Jazz Habana: Siete Miradas/Seven Views. Featuring the photography of seven photographers, who have documented Havana’s international jazz festival, Jazz Plaza, over the years. We are running a crowdfund campaign for this. Please share and support!
